Well, I thought time flew by for that last post, this time I totally forgot we even had a blog. I don’t know if anyone even reads these, but I will try harder to keep them updated.

Wow time flies
Well, it is already half way through the month of September. We have walkers lined up for the CROP Walk on the 27th. Christmas ideas are coming in the mail, community projects are gearing up for the winter, Sunday school has started, sometimes it seems as if you don’t have to do anything and all these things go on around you.
But then we say WAIT! I want to do that too.

It’s been awhlie since I last posted. Some great events at the church since my last post.Children’s Sunday. This was a fun Sunday with the children of the church leading some of the service.Some read Bible Passages.Some were ushers. A very nice Sunday. We had a picnic in The French’s yard. Good food and friendship.
We also had our UCC Picnic at Jones Poad Park(Pond Side Park)...

Sunday July 19, 2009 we are having our worship service at Jones Rd Park in Hampton Twp. at 10:30 am. The park is on the corner of Jones Rd and Ridge Rd. Bring a dish to pass and whatever meat you want to grill. You might also want to bring a jacket seems like it might be cold again this year. Hope to see everyone there.

Spring Cleaning Day Reminder

Children's Sunday
June 21st, @ 10:30 a.m. join us, as we enjoy the children as they help to lead our service. We are First Congregational Church, corner of Sixth and Van Buren Sts, Bay City.
After the service we will be having a hot dog and hamburger BBQ in the backyard. Bring a dish to pass, and maybe a blanket or lawn chairs.

Spring Cleaning Day Date Change
Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you know that the date for Spring Cleaning Day has changed due to a funeral being performed at our church on the 16th. The new date for Spring Cleaning Day is Saturday the 30th. It will still start at 9:00 and we still need people willing to help clean our church’s interior, do yardwork and minor repairs. Please bring all supplies you think you will...

Saturday, May 16, 2009 is our annual spring cleaning day at church. Besides a general cleaning of our beautiful church’s interior, yard work needs to be done as well as minor repairs. So please, mark your calendars, bring your supplies (and hopefully some snacks) and prepare to spend some time giving love to our church.

Council Meeting
